Robert Half Financial Services are recruiting for a Trade Operations Associate role within a Commodity Trading firm based in midtown Manhattan, New York. Our client requires at least 1+ years Trade Operations within a Bank, Investment or Commodities Trading firm. Must have Python or SQL coding skills, and knowledge of Commodities, Futures/Options, Derivatives or Crypto. This role requires 4 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office.
The roles sits with the Traders and is looking for someone who is comfortable with and looking to improve their coding skills with Python, SQL or Pandas.
Responsibilities:
• Experience in settling commodity futures and derivatives transactions
• Capability to perform daily reconciliations of positions, fiat, and BTC
• Coordination with counterparties, fund administrators, custodians, and brokers
• Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data effectively
Requirements:
• 1+ years Trade Operations within a Bank, Investment or Commodities Trading firm
• Familiarity with coding languages such as Python, SQL, or Pandas
• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
• Bachelor’s Degree
